Top 6 Favorite Wigs of 2024

As another year comes to a close, it's time to reflect on the wig styles that really stood out to me in 2024. While I tried countless new launches this year, only a select few truly wowed me with their look, texture and versatility. In this article, I'll discuss the top six wigs I couldn't stop wearing, and what qualities made each one a favorite of mine.

Sage by Aesthetica

To start, Sage by Aesthetica completely captured my heart with its cute yet flirty bob cut. The style isn't too short to be fussy, nor too long to frizz up easily. But what really sold me was the soft, bouncy movement from the generous permate content. With so many volume-added fibers, Sage has a playful, touchable texture that looks natural tousled or waved. I also appreciated the realistic hairline which compliments the shorter style. Whether worn down or pinned back, this has become a go-to for casual days out.

Belletrust's Stella

For those desiring longer locks, Belletrust's Stella quickly rose to favorite status. From the lush layers to natural movement, everything about Stella screams high-quality hair. As a heat-friendly synthetic, it holds curls or waves for days while still feeling lightweight. Paired with the undetectable hand-tied nape and luxe top, Stella sets a new standard for longer styles.

Destiny from Belletrust

Then there's Destiny from Belletrust, which I consider the epitome of "effortless beauty." With its natural layered cut and sparse density, Destiny looks professionally blown out even freshly washed. Whispy bangs and subtle waves enhance the easy elegance, making this an any-occasion crowd pleaser.

John Renault's Ignite

Meanwhile, those seeking high impact won't want to miss John Renault's Ignite. Stacked bobs were in, and Ignite did them best with high-shine fibers and thick permate volume. The blunt cut adds edginess while still suiting many face shapes. Dark roots and face-framing layers only boost its cool-girl charm.

Raquel Welch's Scenestealer

For signature Raquel Welch glam, Scenestealer in "Biscuit" took top honors. Lush layers and permate body create voluminous hair that videos could only do justice showing off. Yet it wears comfortably thanks to a luxe open-weft cap. Simply put, this wig makes a statement anywhere you go.

Belletrust's Chloe

Finally, no favorites list would be complete without praise for Belletrust's Chloe. As one of their best introductions yet from the Lux collection, Chloe delivers on all fronts. From the natural hairline to movement, this ultra-realistic style looks professionally done straight out of the box. Heat-friendly versatility only adds to its long-term value.

In the end, these award-winning styles rose above the rest due to strengths like lightweight comfort, easy styling options, and — most importantly — the ability to transform my look in an instant. Whether flirty or glam, subtle or bold, I couldn't get enough of how these select wigs allowed me to play with different aesthetics effortlessly. Here's hoping 2025 brings just as many incredible launches!
